Compression Therapy
NormaTec’s Pulse Recovery System uses compressed air to massage limbs, mobilize fluid, and fight inflammation. Used daily by the world’s elite athletes, the device utilizes a patented pulse massage pattern to boost recovery. Compression sleeves are offered for legs, hips/lower back, and arms.
The NormaTec Pulse is a great tool for pre-workout warmup and post workout recovery. Studies have shown that NormaTec compression treatments reduce inflammation, increase range of motion, relieve muscle aches and pains, improve circulation, and flush lactic acid and lymphatics.
What to Expect
While using the NormaTec system you will relax in one of our zero gravity recliners. It is suggested you wear shorts or light material pants and socks for the leg sleeves and a short sleeve shirt for arm sleeves. Sessions are 25 minutes.
The session begins with a pre-inflate cycle where the compression sleeves will mold to your body. Similar to the kneading during a massage, the sleeves will then compress in areas and release. This will continue as the compression pattern works its way up the limb.
