Building Foundational Athletic Skills

Jump Start (ages 10-12) focuses on techniques used in speed, agility, and strength to maximize improvements in athletic performance and injury prevention.  At the Jump Start level, the primary focus is on improving Linear Speed and Change of Direction. Linear Speed drills focus on straight ahead acceleration and top speed running technique. Change of Direction drills focus on multi-directional acceleration and deceleration technique. Jump Start classes also include a strength training component with age appropriate resistance and core strengthening exercises.
